Discover the truth about feral cats. (And how to market to their caregivers.)

Alley Cat Allies (ACA) is the leader of the national feral cat movement. In 2001, the organization began celebrating October 16th as National Feral Cat Day (NFCD) to focus attention on the treatment of feral cats. This year, ACA was ready to develop a new direction for NFCD which would have a more lasting impact.

Alley Cat AlliesThat’s where we came in. Cahoon & Cross worked with the ACA staff to develop an approach which would provide ACA supporters with educational messages and action tools to use all year long. We created a special NFCD icon, a tagline, “Discover the truth about feral cats,” and a complete advocacy kit that included a CD with all the materials on it. We also recommended the tagline: “Because alley cats, barn cats, tomcats, & street cats need a different kind of care.” Finally, C&C launched the new www.nationalferalcatday.org Website, which was strategically linked to the ACA site.
