Since 1982, Cahoon & Cross professionals have worked with Nationwide Insurance, supporting the company’s co-op program for agent-level marketing. We represent more than 850 Nationwide Insurance co-op agents located in Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia and North Carolina. Every year, Cahoon & Cross places more than 73,000 local advertisements on their behalf that appear on television, cable, radio—and in print, outdoor and online.

Innovative Online Solutions
When participating Nationwide co-op agents said they wanted more of an online presence in their local communities, Cahoon & Cross developed an innovative, zip code searchable online database. Launched in 2009, the database, housed at www.findmylocalagent.com, allows users to search for nearby agents by entering their zip code and mile radius preference. The search takes visitors to a page featuring agents, just one click from each agent’s Web site to learn more and request a quote. For 2010, Cahoon & Cross increased the Nationwide co-op online advertising program by purchasing more than 288 million impressions delivered via strategic geo-targeting with select online publishers in 18 DMAs.
In addition to the Agents Group Co-Op Advertising Program, Cahoon & Cross also works with sales leadership to execute special media opportunities, positioning Nationwide agents in the lead within their local communities.
